Adorable Foundation for Educational Development, owners of Adorable British Schools are the Proprietors of Nigerian British University.
The foundation currently operates the Adorable British Schools in Awka, Anambra state which has a creche, nursery and primary school. It is worthy of note that the school implements the International Primary Curriculum IPC alongside the Nigerian Primary Curriculum which is a comprehensive, thematic and creative curriculum with a clear process of learning that adapts to children’s interests and level of understanding.
In furtherance of their educational development, the proprietors also set up the Adorable British College in Enugu, a British Secondary School that operates a hybrid curriculum of the Nigerian National Curriculum and the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) which is used in about 103 schools across 50 countries of the world. It is also important to point out that the Adorable British School on reaching its 3rd academic level and meeting standards for British Colleges was awarded a compliance Status with the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), which is a British educational institution that provides quality assurance in member states via the Patrons’ Accreditation and compliance process. This feat has helped to facilitate, coordinate and support professional networking opportunities for British International Schools. This achievement, the Proprietor aims at replicating in Nigerian British University to improve the quality of teaching and learning in the university through achieving research partnerships for global recognition and reckoning.
Nigerian British University envisions reducing the educational migration of Nigerians to the United Kingdom thereby reducing the capital flight associated with it. NBU creates the opportunity for Adorable British College students and other students from Nigerian schools to acquire British Standard education in Nigeria.
